Ruby came to Bridge of Hope Harrisburg with her infant son.  Her son was born prematurely with some medical issues and caused her to miss a lot of work.  She was working full-time as a Certified Nursing Assistant and trying to find an apartment that she could afford on her own.

Her goal is to further her nursing skills.  She wants to increase her income to be able to support her child.

When asked what home means to her she said, “Living in a safe comfortable environment.”  When asked to describe her family in one word she said, “Fun” and what’s your family’s greatest strength she said, “Love”.

When asked what inspires you she said, “Luke 1:37 Faith does not make things easy, it makes them possible.”
