Margaret came to Bridge of Hope Harrisburg with her two teenage sons.  She just experienced the death of her mother, which was her support system, and her oldest son’s personal issues.  She was working full-time but struggling to find housing that she could afford on her own.

She is currently working as a medical assistant but is planning to return to school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse.  Her goal is to become financially stable enough to save money and purchase her own home.

When asked what home means to her she said, “It’s means everything!  My children are what makes my home.  They give me life and keep me pushing to be great for them and myself.”  When asked to describe her family in one word she said, “Love” and what’s your family’s greatest strength she said, “Togetherness”.

When asked what inspires you she said, “I am inspired by good people.  In a world of crazy things going on daily it’s good to meet a solid good person.”
