Heather Weaver

Executive Director

Heather serves as Executive Director of Bridge of Hope Harrisburg Area, bringing nearly ten years of nonprofit experience, including seven years in executive leadership. She is deeply committed to strengthening families and creating pathways to stability for single mothers experiencing homelessness.

A resident of Millersburg, she is married and a proud mother of three. She is actively involved in her children’s lives by coaching their teams, supporting their activities, and serving in various capacities within local Boosters organizations. Her hands-on involvement reflects her belief in the power of community and shared responsibility.

Heather is excited and honored to lead Bridge of Hope Harrisburg Area, and she is passionate about advancing the mission, building strong partnerships, and ensuring families have the support they need to achieve long-term housing stability and hope for the future.

Heidi Cardenas-Weaver

Lead Program Case Manager

Heidi Cardenas-Weaver joined Bridge of Hope Harrisburg in September 2024 as the Lead Program Case Manager. She has experience with senior citizens in low-income HUD housing; counseling women in crisis pregnancy; and assisting young families in multiple birth settings as a labor doula.
Heidi was a young single mother and was supported by her own mother to pursue her education enabling her to graduate from Cairn University with a B.S. in Biblical Studies and an emphasis on Organizational Leadership. Her personal and professional experiences have solidified her conviction that healing and growth happen through relationships and practical support, which is God’s design. Now, Heidi is pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Social Work with a desire to teach and create opportunities for relationships to change the way society approaches family stability, healing and mental health.
Heidi and her husband, Tim will soon celebrate 19 years of marriage. They have 6 children and 3 grandchildren. Her ideal day includes invigorating discussions on life and theology; sitting around a dinner table or fire-pit and everyone’s kids running around. She loves animals, nature, & reading (especially LOTR and the Wingfeather Saga).

Dianna Thomas

Director of Administrative Services

Dianna started with Bridge of Hope Harrisburg Area in July 2022. She has many years of administrative and development experience with non-profit organizations. Dianna is responsible for all administrative program support services.

She has been married to her husband, Daryl, for 30 years. They have 2 adult children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
