Megan & Her Children

What Does “Home” Mean To You?

Home is a loving, happy, safe place for me and my kids.

Who Or What Inspires You?

My children inspire me. They make me want to be a better person.

What Was Your Life Like Before Bridge Of Hope Harrisburg Area?

I had just started my new job and was struggling to be able to find rides to school for my children. I was in a very toxic relationship that affected both me and my children and we were not safe any longer. Not too long after I started my new job, I found out we were being evicted because we couldn’t make the rent payments.

Where Do You Want To See Yourself And Family In The Next One To Two Years?

Career wise, I want to find a full-time job during the day so I can be at home with my kids after school. I want to see my children be happy and healthy. I found an apartment with the help of Bridge of Hope Harrisburg Area; however, I would love to one day own my own home. I want to learn how to be more responsible with my money so I can pay my bills and have no debt. It would be nice to find someone someday who would love me and my children well.

What Is Your Family’s Greatest Strength?

Our Love.
