Home means somewhere safe for my daughter and I.
Who or what inspires you?
Bridge of Hope! I am so blessed and thrilled to be part of Bridge of Hope. It is one of the highlights of my life!
What was your life like before Bridge of Hope Harrisburg Area?
I left my ex-boyfriend because we weren’t safe and got a job immediately because I have a daughter to support. My past relationships were not healthy. The house we were living in was falling apart. The floors were sinking into the ground. For my daughter’s safety, we had to leave that house and the situation. I had no money or job because I stayed home with my daughter.
Where do you want to see yourself and your family in the next one to two years?
I’d like to have a better-paying job so I can support my daughter. I want the best for my daughter’s overall health and to continue with her current daycare. I definitely would love more friendships and to eventually buy a house. Being financially set is my main goal!
In one word, what is your family’s greatest strength?
Loving!
In one word, how would you describe your family’s personality?
Hardworking!
