What does “home” mean to you?

Home is the place you feel the safest, happiest, and most at peace.

Who or what inspires you?

I find inspiration daily, in daily living. Daily experiences can make me want to do something different or better.

What was your life like before Bridge of Hope Harrisburg Area?

I was struggling to maintain steady employment. My son was in school but my daughter was still at home with me. I didn’t have any supportive relationships to help me. My home was not safe to live in and the area we were living in wasn’t safe. My finances were deteriorating.

Where do you want to see yourself and your family in the next one to two years?

I want to have a stable career and income. I want my kids to have stability at school. I want them to be able to join sports teams and have hobbies one day. I’m working on building more supportive relationships for a better support system. I’m also hoping to save to buy a home one day. Most of all, I want a safe home environment for my children.
